Pinky Swear Farm is a little slice of heaven in Carroll County, Maryland, just south of the Mason-Dixon Line. The farm is a special place where each day brings new discoveries and experiences.
A “pinky swear” is a promise. During my pig-tail years I made a pinky swear to myself that I’d own a farm someday that would bring me the same peace I found during family vacations out west.
Come and experience this little slice of heaven for yourself. There are a variety of activities, including, Farm Stay, Hunting Experience, Fish for a Day and Special Events.
The barnyard is home to a playful menagerie of donkeys, sheep, pygmy goats, and chickens. Each has their own personality and provide endless entertainment.
There are 20 acres to find your passion or simply sit on the front porch enjoying some sweet tea.

Ghostly encounter at the farm today: The person that built the farm DIED in 1846, so the place very old. We believe people are buried somewhere on the 20ac property. And we know someone died in the pond. The home is an old log cabin that has been restored..
My little fruit tree orchard is showing off it’s spring finery. I can’t wait for it to start showing its fruit! I have 17 peach trees and two each of pear, plum, and apple.
Yesterday was sheep shearing day at the farm. Seamus seems so violated. Ha!
